What is this Blog About?

From July 2005-August 2007, I lived in South Asia and was involved with a program called One-Story. I worked with a partner to develop a set of biblically accurate, culturally relevant, stories in the local language of an unreached people group in the mountains of northern India.
For me, it was a dream come true to serve God in this way among the Kahani people, a remote people group, most of whom had never heard about God’s Son before. The past two years were definitely the hardest two years of my life, but also the best two years of my life. I wouldn’t trade them for anything and I would do it again tomorrow. I look forward to how this experience has prepared me for what God may call me to next.
I have created this blog as a place to store my personal reflections/email updates from a two year period of my life – July 2005-August 2007. However, I also want it to be a resource for people who are interested in finding out more about One-Story.

From January to May 2008, I travelled in the U.S.A. speaking about One-Story at various colleges and universities. From conversations with students, I have developed a list of Frequently Asked Questions and a few other documents that I think might be helpful to those seriously considering a One-Story project. Thank you to those of you who asked those questions and expressed interest in serving God among unreached people groups! I am praying for you and look forward to what languages are represented in Heaven because of YOU!!!
